You wake inside the chamber. The creature remains in your mind. It senses your corruption and rejects it. To it you are an infection to the land. The needles withdraw. The last one pulls free from your abdomen, larger than the rest. Something twists between your organs. It tries to take hold, but your corruption absorbs it.

The facility loses power. One machine after another shuts down. Then silence.
